There are so many things that make our latest Faye Swimsuit a one-stop pattern for swimwear. Not only are there three very different views, but you can also make it reversible! We have a Youtube tutorial forthcoming to show you exactly how to achieve this yourself, but it's super simple! The best part is you end up with two different suit options (when two swimsuits become one...) You could use two solid colours to mix and match or a mix of prints and solids or maybe even *gasp* two clashing prints; you're the designer (I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want!)
In case you haven't picked up on our theme for this blog post yet, we're feeling spicy around here today, so we thought we would pull inspiration from our fav 90's girl group to show you some fun combos of fabrics to get you in the mood to: SPICE UP YOUR LIFE!
THE GINGER

For Heather's version, we went with a neutral tone-on-tone palette that evoke warm spices. The terracotta and brown combo looks great on Heather's decidedly Autumn colouring and can be worn four different ways! These pieces would fit perfectly into a capsule travel wardrobe, how cute would these tops be under an oversized shirt, just walking around or going to lunch? Très chic! Of course, these fabrics are sourced from Core Fabrics where we have a whole range of high quality swim fabric made from recycled nylon.
THE SPORTY

For the ultimate Sporty Spice look, choose two super saturated solids that work together. We love the combo of the Aqua and Pthalo blue that evokes surfing the Great Barrier Reef or playing a game of badminton on the shore! Choose View B with the cross-back straps for even more sporty vibes as well as support. Play ball!
THE SCARY

The hallmarks of Scary Spice style: bright colours and animal prints are the inspiration for this version. For a more tame interpretation, choose a muted zebra print like this one and add a pop of colour for multiple looks in one.
THE BABY

We offset the cuteness of this deadstock gingham floral with a pop of cherry pink so you can embrace both the sweet and the saucy of Baby Spice's style. What's fun about a combo like this is you might see a little peek of the opposite fabric when you're wearing it along the seam lines, almost like piping!
THE POSH

The ultimate in sophistication, Posh Spice knows how to up the classy factor. What's so great about a suit like this is you can keep it simple in basic black and then turn on your inner she-leopard when the sun goes down. I love the idea of using this suit almost like a top in a capsule travel wardrobe, throw a skirt and a shawl on and you could head out to dinner!
So whaddya think?? Which one are you? Tell us in the comments!
